I'm a Dreamer

I've been having very vivid dreams lately. The problem is I forget them almost as soon as I wake up. I decided to write them down as soon as I wake up to try to remember as much as I can. So here goes last night's/this morning's. What I can still remember anyway.
My friend Evelyn and I were on vacation. Her husband was with her but it was our time to hang out together. We met up and went to my hotel room. We walked into the room and heard people talking. There's a dining room off to the side. We looked in and Al Pacino was there conducting a meeting. There were a bunch of people sitting around a long table and the cleaning lady was busy cleaning. No one noticed our presence in the doorway.
All of a sudden, this machine started rising up from inside the floor. I asked Evelyn what it was and she said it looked like a weapon. That's exactly what it turned out to be. The thing started firing bullets in a circular motion hitting everyone in the room. Evelyn and I jumped out of the way and hit the floor. They were all dead.
It was time to get out of there. I was a nervous wreck and Evelyn was calmly telling me that she and her husband were continuing their vacation in Disneyland in California. She said she would try to call me to check on me when they got there but couldn't promise anything.
We heard sirens and I started to panic. I didn't want to get caught in the room and get accused of murdering all these people. We really needed to get out of there. I grabbed the keys and we headed out the door. More panic set in as I realized my fingerprints would be all over the room. But then again, it was my room so it's a given that my fingerprints would be everywhere. Would it matter that my fingerprints were on top of everyone else's?
We headed into the staircase to avoid the police. I woke up feeling exhausted like this really just happened. Do you believe that all dreams have meaning?   Can you define this one for me?

A Blog is Born

The age old question, how to make money from home? One I've been asking myself for a few years now. I have some ideas but so far nothing seems to pan out. I sell jewelry and will continue to do so but it's slow going. I need something consistent that I can count on to pay the bills when they're due.

Whenever I hear someone mention that they work from home, my ears automatically perk up. I always want to know exactly what they do and I almost never get an answer. When I do get an answer, it's something that I have no experience in. I worked in Corporate America for a very long time before I finally accepted the fact that it just wasn't for me. I am a mother of 3 and the time and energy that I had to put in at work didn't leave me with much of either by the time I got home. I realized that I needed to do something FROM home so that I wouldn't have to worry about leaving my children with strangers all day while I went out to make money for someone else. Now the question is, WHAT???

I've found some customer service positions that I can do from home but the hours are never convenient. I need something that I can do in my own time, even if it's midnight. My youngest child is only 4 months old and I nurse so it's hard for me to commit to a time. I understand that if I worked outside the home, there would be set hours and I would have to figure it out but that's the point of working from home. I want to be able to work and make money to help support my family while being able to take care of them and meet their needs as well. Why does it have to be one or the other? Well if I can help it, it no longer has to be. I'm determined to find something that I can do in my own time, from home, without it interfering with my motherly duties.

I was told by several people that I was meant to be a writer. I wish I knew what it was that I'm supposed to write about. I'm trying to figure it out and hence my blog is born. This will be a great way for me to figure out what I can do to generate some immediate, much needed cash, promote my jewelry and write at the same time.
